They helped me to time when to sell my house in S. Cal. I got 5X mortgage value! Even at the very top of the bubble I'd have only gotten 6x, so, it was a great call. Not to mention all the stock tips I've gotten there that paid off.

Then stick with them. You clearly need them. After all, you were the guy all gung ho to move to SC. Oh wait.....was that one of their 'tips'?

Dissing people who oppose you politically isn't going to help your bottom line Ted.

If their political judgement is lacking, why do you think their economic judgement is any better?

BTW my bottom line is doing just fine.

Many of them are much more knowledgeable than you, or me, about certain things.

Dude. When it comes to real estate, there is no one I have met on that thread who I consider very knowledgeable. They simply mouth what they are reading in the press. That's not how you make major money in real estate.

And just for the record, twice realtors in the past six months have suggested listing my house for roughly the same price I paid for it. Those suggestions were made unsolicited. BTW I bought my house just before the market collapsed.

I don't typically boast about my accomplishments because I think its bad karma but sadly for some people, the only thing they undersanding is boasting PR. Are you one of them, Chris?

Do you still think we're in an economic recovery, with unemployment rising to 9.8%? I don't.

Yes, we are in recovery and yeah, I am not surprised you don't think so.
