Split? We wish! They had no revenues from telecom but were probably still making some money off shampoo (heck, the shampoo operation is still profitable, it's just not strategic). It doesn't seem all that long ago, but look how far they have come in that time. It really is amazing. And they're really taking giant steps now!

Kingpin, the stock hasn't actually split since the all time high, but it may as well have. Total outstanding shares way back then was only 15 - 16 M or so if memory serves me right. That only gave us a market cap at the high of around $500M. Actually right now I think we only have around 23M outstanding, so we're only at a market cap of around $650M. I think Ric said fully diluted would be around 50M shares, but I have no idea how you would know that or figure it out. Market cap I believe is only calculated using outstanding shares though.

Takeover- I'm not holdiing my breath or counting on anything anytime soon. I don't think the market or the options are saying enough. Friday I think was purely a Vogel rally. I still think AT&T is the most likely suitor, but remember their new CEO just started last week. I doubt anything will happen while he comes up to speed. And who knows what will happen with their BOD's. I really don't know if much can happen until the BT/MCIC/WCOM/GTE mess clears up. I still think AT&T may make a go for GTE.

I think I may just try daytrading for awhile. This world situation makes it pretty risky holding overnight, even though WCII has shown that it can stand up pretty good in a bad market. I sold the last of miine Fri at 27 15/16 (didn't think it would take out 28 :-)) and didn't want to hold anything over the weekend. May miss a gap in the morning, but didn't think it was worth the risk of holding. So I'll just be winging it in the morning, depending on how WCII and the market looks.
