There has been speculation for a while but I would have thought that the licensing agreement would have stopped it. As long as ORCL can get the product it needs and rebadge it why spend $500m to buy BORL. Funny that Rod hasn't pushed the idea of an IBM takeover but!!!

No, No. There is cyclical behavior here. Rod gets so convinced of an Oracle buyout, that only idots will disagree with him. BORL/Oracle do something that demonstrates that Oracle will not be buying anytime soon. Rod gets very critical of BORL. BORL moves up very strongly.

Forget the fundamentals. Rod's recent Oracle oracle (pun intended) is strongest evidence yet that BORL is about to make a very strong move. Get ready. 15 is comming.
