(What I would say is that two --- very, very wealthy, and very, very reclusive dudes... brothers, owners of many corporations, collectively the third and fourth wealthiest Americans --- are simply 'working the system' in their own inimitable way! Pouring tens of millions into political think tanks to get supporting materials written in the way that they want, and money into a wide assortment of Astro-Turf 'local political groups' so their hand can remain relatively unseen by the general public.) I wouldn't call that 'conspiracy' but rather tremendously successful manipulation of the democratic system. Giving their billions a megaphone that it otherwise would not have had if their dominant role was more widely known. :-) God bless America.
