Gottfried: Just some past experience. I purchased a 21" Samsung Syncmaster 6 to 8 years ago, cost around $1,200. I work with spread sheets and the larger size helps with modeling / reporting. 3 years ago I upgraded equipment and set up dual monitors Acer 24". I forget what they cost but under $500 each. The Samsung still works great (glad I never purchased the extended warranty Circut City was pushing at the time). You may want to consider dual monitors. Before this year end I plan on upgrading and have 3 monitors. Tim
