In general, Blacks will never be treated as equals (did I say "in general"?) as long as this kind of pandering and arse-kissing continues. Ditto for Mexican - "hispanics" who don't want to assimilate, while our rulers continually give our culture over to them. We have a "statue" in the heart of San Jose, in a place now called Plaza de Cesar E. Chavez, that looks like a GIANT piece of dog poop. It's some kind of Mexican "god" -- or some such garbage). Our wonderful downtown library was renamed for MLK and our International Airport for Mineta. There is a photo here.
