I inherited an M-1 Garand from my dad. It gave me new respect for the GI's that had to lug those things around! HEEEAVY! With the iron sights, they could shoot a lot farther than you could target.

I quickly sold it. You notice no one's been converting those things to deer rifles, like they did with the 1903 Springfields en masse'. I inherited one of those from Dad too.

Obama is keeping us safe from weapons “in the wrong hands”


He certainly is - not sure any of these would be criminals even know how to strip these rifles down to properly remove all the cosmoline they are most likely coated in and dried on after decades of storage.
