I agree that should be laws approach to tasering.

I'm sure your response would not be cowardly. The best thing his son could have done was grab the bottle of Maalox and chug it. The real pettiness is once your father presented his passport a full record of pretty much everything he has done in his entire life with respect to interactions with law enforcement is known to airport screening.

Is there any reason to take away a bottle of Maalox from a citizen when there is no suspicion? They don't do that on Greyhound buses. An airport is a great way for the government to push people around. Just like a cow in a feedlot waiting to get pushed down a chute with a cattle prod and branded.

I was in a similar situation four years ago where I was charged for hindering but not convicted - costs to defend came close to $50k.
