You and the small percentage. it wasn't, however, shoved down our throats (which really is a rather crude phrase), anymore than healthcare has been. And it doesn't do to refer to 'our' when what a person is actually speaking about is how they, the "I", feels, and perhaps how some people they know feel. it is the same as when "we liberals" are said to hold a certain idea. or when a guy who is gay and has a big name gets on tv and says how WE gays feel about something, when I am pretty sure I've never talked to the man in my life so he at least doesn't know how This Lesbian feels. it is a good retorative device in argument, but in terms of human beings, it is meaningless to claim the grand OUR for our own selves or lil groups.

If you feel you had healthcare shoved down yer throat, I hope you have lozanges to help with that. beyond that, I am happy with the bill. Dems ran partly on doing something about healthcare and won big. I am pleased. perhaps I am not an OUR.
