Yeah... so I wouldn't get too worked-up about any 'new' government 'mortgage assistance' programs that may come down the pike at this point. Highly doubtful that anything could pass Congress, and anything put forward by one of the Agencies now will be just a trifle --- of insignificant size, more like a PR exercise than anything even approaching a size large enough to have a real world impact. It's all baked into the cake now.... The government has done all that it will do and the housing markets will have to put in their own base now....
