What happened in 2000 - 2002 when the Internet bubble collapsed? Many companies crashed in price, many went bankrupt. Among those that survived, many became giants, and doing well.

What would happen if the government would decide to "support" the prices of all those companies, and throw some "stimuli" at them?

That's what they are doing now with RE, financial institutions and many businesses. Will this help the economy? More likely, it will hurt it. And the out of control growth in debt will hurt all of us, and for a long time.

So bent,

Here is what I learned today.. We have three accounts with Wells Fargo, been a long time banker with them as they seem to have kept buying up our local bankers..

So we keep 20-30K, up to 50K, for working capital in one account with NO real interest paid to us. A buck or two a month..

So I checked that account with 22K+ amount today and they charged us a 25.00/month as a "egg management" fee.. It is UFB..

So we have been Obamamized.. As he won't seem to nominate a person like Elizabeth Warren to help/protect people like us....

Talk about being in the pockets of the Big Banksters with his fin-reg bill..

I rest my case.. :(
