If they're on a mission the best way to irritate them is be polite as they want to provoke you into saying something rude.

If you feel they have gone over the line ask to speak to a supervisor.

When I was a kid, one of my highschool classmate's Dad was a bank guard but he was retired border patrol. He had a whole wall full of bowies, knives, shivs, and weapons that he had collected from what he called 'wetbacks' he'd pulled out of the Rio Grande. They were on display at the bank.
