I am amazed we ever even had the sense to form a democracy. From my perspective we still behave like barbarians.

NOt one state in the south had enough sense to end segregation over 100 year period from 1865 to 1964? People argued about slavery until 1860.

Women didn't get the vote until 1919 and half the people in the country are still bashing gays and can't wrap their mind around gay marriage.

That is all 6th grade thinking. So I do not expect the general public to figure out something as complicated as Keynisian economics which is unconveniently graduate level economics, but is the thinking necessary to make the correct economic decisions.

We cannot listen to uncle Ralph because he doesn't have a clue, just an opinion.

Keynes was considered the equal to Einstein and Russel and Huxley and like Darwin has proven to be pretty right about the things he figured out.

Keynes predicted the depression and the dangers of stripping Germany of all its pride after WWI.

The big economic thinkers still primarily use Keynes.
