We have to do what the Germans have done. Figure out innovative ways to make our products better so that people will be willing to pay the higher price for them. Until earlier this year, Germany exported more products than any other country in the world even as they were no where near the largest economy.

In the past, the Republicans claimed that God was on their side until such time the Democrats wrested that issue from them to say that they were on God's side. Judging from Obama's remarks during the past week, it looks like Axelrod's approach is to expose the Republicans by proposing legislation that the Republicans have been raising.
