I have not found the Canadians to be a problem. Frankly, my wife and I have never had a problem. My agnst is re the US - our daughter, her husband and their 2 year old getting the full monty. FWIW - her husband is the son of a retired Secret Service guy. His brother is currently in the Secret Service. It must have been the 2 year old who was the threat!

Don't ever recall seeing an attractive Canada Customs agent.

Didn't ask about the extra booze we had and we didn't mention it.

The questions I seem to get usually are:

Citizen of what country?
Where do you live?
Where are you going?
Purpose of the trip?
How long will you be in Canada?
Do you have any firearms with you?
Have you ever been refused entry into Canada?
Are you bringing anything with you that you'll be leaving in Canada. [here is the opportunity for some fun. Responses can include "Yes, money!" or the one I like best when going to British Columbia is, "Sir, everyone knows that B.C. stands for "bring cash."
