I was with some healthcare professionals in the bay area last weekend. Mentioned that Gartner was really fu in the the electronics areas I follow. That provoked a lot of guffaws and commiserating. It seems they are no better in healthcare.

I can see why Gartner made it impossible for me to find their older predictions on their web site! I had to get the info from EE Times!

I think nobody expected global IC sales to bounce back the way they did in this kind of environment -
