I don't think that anyone has really questioned the capabilities of the technology. I don't have it and I believe that it's the best and fastest thing out there.

I do have serious concerns though. My concerns have to do with valuation and execution. Is the company really worth $2.6B? Even the most optimistic expectations are pressed here. If you revenues are $500 per subscriber per year you'll need 500k subscribers to make $250mm. At that number of customers, the price/sales is around 10, which would be reasonable to me. Of course they don't even have 50k subscribers, much less 500k. And I'm not sure how quickly they can ramp up to meet the demand. I live in Sunnyvale, where @Home was supposed to be available months ago, yet every time I call they say that they're still in beta test mode.

TIME WARNER IN THE ACT...In the Memphis area, Time Warner is launching a new cable internet service call "Road Runner". As a stock holder of @home, should I be worried??? Also if Time Warner is our only cable provided, how will @Home ever come to the Memphis area?
