Lots of people involved in the writing, but Elizabeth Warren was by far the most important.

What many people do not know is that lobbyists often write legislation which legislators then introduce, like tax cuts or special appropriations.

The rich have a lot more lobbyists than the poor.

When bush was first elected cheney had his secret meeting with many of the top oil company's CEO's. He was asking them what they wanted and needed in legislation.

Then the Republican congress gave the oil companies what they wanted. And remember Bush never vetoed a single bill (a record) for the 6 years of Republican control.

The deal bush had with the Republican congress was don't mess with us and we will not mess with you.
