Agree with that, Steve! Interestingly enough, the ship we were on the last couple of weeks was just full of older people....My husband called it the Ship of Codgers...

In a way, it was a perfect time for vacation....still nice weather, the kids had to get ready for school again so weren't running all over the ship, etc...

BUT it was if many of the older people, who have scrimped and saved over the years, just had had it with the current mess in DC, and said the "the h*ll with it"....we're going to go play for a change.

No one really talked much about politics, so there was a lot of tiptoeing, but the people who broke the ice and talked about the situation, were ALL upset about the economy and other things they see happening, and that included the German couple and gal from Australia and other folks from the UK and Ireland that we met along the way....
