Fed survey: Slower growth spreads to more regions Fed survey: More parts of country report slower growth as economy loses momentum AP Economics Writer, On Wednesday September 8, 2010, 2:02 pm WASHINGTON (AP) -- More regions of the country reported slower growth as the U.S. economy lost momentum in the late summer. A new survey by the Federal Reserve finds the weakness spreading. Of the 12 regions tracked by the Fed, economic activity was mixed or slowed in five -- New York, Philadelphia, Richmond, Atlanta and Chicago. Activity elsewhere was described as modest or pointed to positive developments. In the Fed's previous survey in late July, only two regions -- Atlanta and Chicago -- had reported slower growth. Although the economy was still growing in late summer, there were "widespread signs of deceleration," the Fed says. finance.yahoo.com

If you think about it, letting people alone to invent and create and produce is the way to go. It is evolutionary and the results usually represent real progress. We need to remove the political dinosaurs (left and right) we have in office who insist on using old, worn out polices from the '30s. Policies that are proven failures. And they (democrats) call themselves Progressives.........more like Regressives.......as they have no new ideas and there is nothing progressive about them and their methods.
