He just makes me sick. If there were a meter in front him that detected lies, it would never stop going off. It's just lie after lie after lie. And he waits for applause. It is a pathetic display and a testament to the ignorance and stupidity of the average American. They have allowed this to happen by turning off their brains. GT TH

vacuous -- devoid of real content -- O's said stuff to please and cajole his whole life -- given the reward that he has received most of the time -- is it any wonder he continues to spew the same stuff. I am sure he is convinced he is taking stands on "principle," but his only real principle is the reward that he gets for pontificating. I share the view of the rest -- turn him off and don't listen. Why get upset? He's annoying and irrelevant and unlikely to get a 2nd term. He's unlikely to even retain control -- despite what the media sells us -- we like gridlock -- we'd like to see lawmaking of any kind curtailed -- cause it ONLY gets worse when legislation gets passed.
