The ongoing situation in the global markets, which due to their earlier closing on Mondays can affect the weekend signals that were issued on the previous Saturday, obviously requires an adjustment to the timing of my updates.

Until now, the midweek hotlines were issued on Tuesday thru Friday mornings, before the market opened, but there is obviously a necessity to adjust things so that an early Monday signal can also be issued. The points expressed recently point to this quite succinctly.

What I need to do, apparently, is notify all subscribers, with particular attention given to those who receive the newsletter by 1st Class Mail or fax, that there may also be a new update on Monday mornings before the bell, if events in Asia or anything else necessitates a change for any of the Selects.

In this notification, which will be placed in next week's issue, they will be told of this, and instructed to call the Weekend Hotline on Saturdays or Sundays, since this message may be superceded by a new update early on Monday morning.

Whether there is a new message on Mondays or not, it will be up to the 1st Class subscribers to call on Sat. or Sunday, and then again on Monday morning just in case a change is made. This should cover any situations like we faced on Monday, 10/27, and possibly would have faced this morning if last night's Asian markets had closed further down than they already have.

Please let me know if you believe that this will solve the current problem as far as all types of subscribers and emergency Monday morning messages are concerned. Also, thanks for your terrific feedback.
