As for the Bangalore address, Reuters is British and has correspondents all over the world.

OK. I though Toy's R Us had outsourced their public relations department to India.</sarcasm>

It could be. Bangalore is the hi tech center of India. Maybe Toys R Us has a research center there. According to their website, they are in 33 countries.

Funny story today. I had to pick up some drying cleaning. It was really cool out...so cool I was wearing my winter jacket. Plus, it was gray outside. I walked into the dry cleaners and it was nice and toasty. I said to the woman who was waiting on me that its nice working in this place right now but I bet its miserable in the summer. She turned to me and said.....but it IS summer.

Uh......something is wrong with the weather. Just sayin'.

Canadian Employment--If Only if it Could be the US

9/10/2010 7:22 AM EDT

Canada grew 79.9k fulltime jobs in August. Given that the US economy is more than 10 times bigger it is as if the US wold have grown in excess of 800k non-farm jobs. If only.

That said, Canadian employment data has been unsually volatile and there seems to be some seasonal distortion and also one-off facotrs distorting the time series. Neverthelesss the data was good enough to push the greenback through the CAD1.03 level. Support now is seen near CAD1.0280 and short-term momentum indicators are a bit stretched
