"What's scandalous is this "downtrodden of the world" crap. We're against people jumping the line, depriving "downtrodden" from other than across the Rio Grande from having their shot at the American dream. That "anti-immigrant" crap just drives me up the wall." The people screwed the most by our lack of border control are American minorities - mainly black. The last thing they need as they start to climb the economic ladder is more competition for the bottom rungs of the ladder. Go to Houston and see who has the jobs in the hotels and restaurants. Tell me then who is being screwed. None the less - they will vote lock step for their guarantor of poverty. It is all upside down.
