And I think its completely accurate as to its use of genuine source material. I think its a fact that the founder of Islam, old Mohammed himself, was a pretty loathsome character. (You can't really say this about any other founder of a religion - Jesus, Moses, Buddha, Lao Tse, Confucius, the Bahai guy, etc they are usually good people as far as we know - Mohammed otoh has the blood of innocents on his hands, he really did "marry" ie rape the wives and daughters of people he'd just killed, and you can go on and on with more .... taking "booty" like a bandit - he bragged about it. I'll leave it there cause you could really write a book about it. The thing is ALL the negative stuff that people write about Mohammed comes from records that Muslims have preserved ... its not stuff that anyone else made up.) This is a problem for Muslims imo or would be if they looked into it. It would be a problem for me if I were in their place. Most are normal people and who aren't extreme at all ... I don't know how they disconnect from the stuff in the hadith mentally but they seem to (is it just ignored, is it something they don't know about? ... I can't say). I say that as someone who works with Muslims all the time .... mostly from Africa or Malaysia. I suppose most don't really know the details of what kind of person Mohammed was and don't really want to know. Bottom line, there's a major world religion whose founder was loathsome morally. Those Muslims who look into the facts and educate themselves on their own scriptures and accept it, will come to think and act as Mohammed did and they will always be a problem for everyone around them. Thats why Islam is likely to be a religion with an element that is fanatic and violent forever. Thats my opinion.
