They are relevant to the data that's fed in to the argument not the argument itself. They are irrelevant to the logic, but not the premises.

The premise where numbers would be relevant is the claim that wind power frequently produces well under its rated capacity (and more often than most "conventional" sources produces nothing). If that premise was seriously challenged than the numbers would be important, but do you really want to challenge that claim? It would be rather silly.
