Agreed-I bought a 56k modem (USRX) two months ago and returned within 24 hours. Hard to believe, but my 14.4 was faster! Now I'm sailing with cable. Could never go back. Mike, Which cable modems does your cable company support? What do they charge and what backbone is used by the ISP? LanCity was chosen by our cable company and the system works great accept backbone bandwidth is always a problem even with a T3. Glenn
