It didn't give the basis for evaluation, or why any one country was ahead, or behind, any other other. Pure fluffery.

Yeah.. I was looking for the same thing.. Need to determine the criteria they used in the analysis before I can truly render an opinion.

mannie, re criteria, i would think that what just happened between usa congress, credit instrument 'owners', debtors, wallstreet and legal profession is plenty criteria. what more criteria do you wish to use?

You can look at it from many angles.. The US is considered more competitive than Canada... yet look at the potential US debt bomb.. It's all opinions of what might be based on numbers... look at the ideas/facts and use your mind... It is all we can do...
