My problem, for that strategy, is that the nearest motel/hotel lobby that would serve free coffee is at least 10-12 miles away.. Then gas costs would come into play.. I guess I will start doing what the old timers used to do. Leave the pot on the stove all the time and add grounds to it, especially when someone would stop in.. Keep doing that until the pot was almost full.. We might be coming to that again.. Rolling things back and start living more frugal lives.. Wouldn't be all that bad and it would stretch the life of the planet out a bit...
