Kevin, I am not familier with XNET, but the product you described would compete with current BROC products more so than with NetGain.

Network concentric or Internet concentric are terms used by BROC and others to describle a system that revolves around the network. Generally it means that the client machines have little or no resident application software but work with a server across some sort of network getting screens, data, and even application software as needed from the server. In the strictest sense it means that all apps are executed on the server and the client is no more than a terminal as with Citrix Winframe. In the best sense it means that certain apps run on the server and certain apps downloaded to run on the client machine in some optimal parsing as with NetGain.

It means that the entire system is centered around the network with continuous synchronization. If Bob sells the last widget and no more are due in for two weeks, Paul instantly knows it. Or a new price list for a product line can be instantly "pushed" to everyone involved.
