If one has the attitude that voting for a fresh face, like someone from other than the two major parties, is throwing a vote away, that attitude times 50 or 100 million gets us what we always get. The same thing, over and over again. If you vote for a new face and that person does not get elected, at least you can say to yourself that you did not participate is sustaining the status quo.
