The top 1 percent of tax returns paid 40 percent of all federal individual income taxes.

40% of those polled may not have paid any taxes. You will notice that Obama nor Pelosi will discuss percentages. Why does the guy who promised transparency not say to the American public, 40% of you use our country and do not pay income taxes, and only 1% pay 40% of individual taxes. That 1% has been getting off easy...(not those that pay absolutely nothing) and we want "those guys" to 50%, 45% whatever the number is...

They do not do so because if a pie chart was put up behind Obama
as he talked about "those guys" not paying their fair share, most people would disagree.

As Kenneth wrote, he supported a candidate because he was not going to raise HIS taxes, but of course he supported OTHER people paying more taxes. Talk about greed!
