I am amazed that among the military activity you object to was WWII. You know, the one where we invaded France to kick out the Germans? It was in ALL the papers... And weren't you guys pretty busy in places like Viet Nam, Algeria and others? Oh, and then there was that long one. 100 years??? France makes us look pretty good!

Europe's problem is they lost all their fighting spirit because they lost the sense for what's right and wrong. Like a grandpa finds everything his grandchildren do just great whatever. "The Old Europe" is in a state of blatant decadence, which is most often followed by the next step down, helplessness - as in the final, senile state of a man's existence. Good luck on that path - you will need it. Why fighting if you don't know if you or your opponent is right or wrong? - There is really nothing worth fighting for from the European perspective. But it's completely different for the US. We know what is right and wrong and there are some inalienable reasons we will always go to war for. Like if someone tries to take away our freedoms, for example. Good luck for them - they will need it.
