That might be true in some areas still way overpriced areas but in general we crashed in FL in 2007-08 and have been flat for about 18 months. Funny I get hosed also from the other side of RE optimists because I keep expecting the coastal gateway cities to correct much more yet I keep seeing these stats of bidding wars in San Francisco, the DC beltway and out in the Hamptons again...Recent reports of prices up double digits year over year something I can't confirm as I am not on the ground in these places. For Florida I can tell you the true story 100%..
