Figures don't lie but liars do figure!

Rockhead, this has gone on too long. I know some people like to have you around just for an opposing viewpoint. But making statements about how IOM has been outperformed buy it's tech stock peers just isn't true. You must manipulate the time spans to reach that conclusion, and they can be manipulated just as easily to reach the opposite conclusion. Once you demonstrate a willingness to distort, your credibility is gone, along with the value of your contributions (here). To me you're now just a goof. IOM is going to do well, and I wonder if you'll still be around when earnings are reported in January.

Zack's recently upgraded IOM to a "1". Please explain that to all of us.

Well, I don't think IOM will just make Buckingham's numbers. However, all of this relatively good (unlike the laughable LS-120) competition has me somewhat more concerned now about IOM being able to keep its huge market share. I still believe Zip has enough installed base and a cheap enough price to crush competition, though. Zip is still continuing to get more OEM's too.

Leave Rocky, Leave!

exchange2000.com

When I read your verbage in the above posting, I can't help but wonder why you are still on this thread. If you like QGLY, DELL, CPQ, INTC, and (yuck!) AOL, then go post in their groups. You are neither long or short Iomega at this point by your own admission, so leave already! We know you have been *BURNT* badly in the past by longing and shorting Iomega (do you want me to URL your posts?), which only goes to prove your inability to predict Iomega's stock prices. So please stop wasting our time with your bias.

Truth is Harsh,
Yikes

Rocky, as is evident by its recent stock price decline
in the face of tough competition from AMD and IDTI,
Intel is a story of the past, and is destined to become
a loser. On the other hand, because of the brilliant
performance of IOM over the past 2 months, it is the
greatest stock ever. (see how I can reach any conclusion
I want to by arbitrarily selecting a time period?)
Get a clue and a life.

Best regards,

Kunal

Rocky reminds me of a parrot
CHICAGO (Reuters) - Prospective parrot purchasers, beware! You
are asking for a lifetime of trouble.

Parrots take a lot of work, said Liz Wilson, a bird behavior specialist
from Levittown, Pennsylvania, in a report released at a meeting of the
American Veterinary Medical Association Friday.

Most people who buy a baby parrot get rid of it after five years, she
said.

"Parrots are not easy to live with," Wilson said. "They are loud and
they stay in their terrible twos for their entire life."

The macaw, a large parrot, may grow to full size relatively quickly,
but doesn't reach sexual maturity for five or six years. Owners are
often shocked to find themselves with an unruly teen-ager in the
house, she added.

David Graham, a professor of avian health at Texas A & M
University, said in a report released at the same meeting that parrots
are highly social animals that bond with mates in the wild, and in
captivity their owners must fulfill those needs.

"We've come to recognize that long-term solitary confinement is cruel
and unusual punishment in people, and the same applies to these
special animals," he said.

Parrots need to interact with the family, he said, adding that owners
often underestimate how long birds live.

**OT** RE:Rockhead Rantings

Did I miss the post where someone actually -asked- Rockhead
for his current market anaylsis ?? Or is this more self stimulation ?

>>The good news is, thanks to the recent market declines, there are some real bargains out there in real quality companies. IOM, however, is not one of these. Aside from my QGLY position, I have been sitting with cash on the sidelines for the past couple of weeks. I will be buying this week, as I think most of the selling is finally done with. IOM will not be among my purchases. My most likely candidates? Probably INTC, CPQ, and DELL. These proven workhorses should provide plenty of movement this year too, just like last. But not IOM.
