A good idea is to wrap from toe to the top of the shin with an ACE for the first 48 hrs. Then she needs a good brace that gives her ankle firm support. And of course she needs to keep icing and taking a good anti-inflammatory. Son sprained his ankle about a month ago. These instructions come from his doc.
