It is often difficult to discern the intent of posters on this and other such threads. Obvious hypersters and grizzly bears are usually not too difficult to spot, but it's the accuracy of (mis ?)information provided by those inbetween that may lead to problems. I tend to favour those that take on a reasonable tone without aggression and "flaming". People like James and Franco, I tend to tune out to a certain degree, and heed the advice and comments of moderates who are able to substantiate their input with public references. I also appreciate when others who are speculating make it known that their comments are suppositions, and not hard facts. I, like others, do tend to think out loud when typing these posts, and occassionally speculate "what if..." sometimes. This enthusiasm shouldn't be confused with hyping though. I find Franco at least entertaining, if not factual. I am disturbed when moderate voices like TraderGreg and David Smith are attacked when they 1st join the discussion thread. We all have to start somewhere, and long time association with SI does not guarantee that the poster is respectable, knowledgable or has integrity. It could just mean that they've been BS'ing for a long time. Conversely, new associations are not indicative of beginner's level knowledge. I appreciate TraderGreg and David's input, the content of which has been either largely substantiated or just downright reasonable in their tone of conjecture, and I hope that they are not dissuaded from participating by a small fringe of naysayers. I live in Saudi Arabia, where current information is extremely difficult to come by. E-mail and internet are virtually the only sources of timely information I can receive here, and so I appreciate the conscientious efforts of most of the posters on this thread and other such forums. Please keep up the good work, and I'll look forward to the discussion (and occassional speculation) in future posts. Regards, Durro
