I hear that 30 feet down into the floor of the Bering straits, just off the coast of Nome that there is plenty of color. Tough place to mine tho.
What if Arizona was at the bottom of the ocean at one time? What if this particular stretch of ground from Califonia through Nevada, into Arizona was the beach? Like the beach at Nome??? Now its millions of years later. Who knows?
