Actually, I don't believe that is a 'fact'....

Mostly it depends on *what* drug you may be talking about (whites use more pot per-capita, and more meth, more psychedelics, for example...).

And, if one uses statistical methods and controls for independent variables... you quickly see that socio-economic status ('wealth') plays a MUCH BIGGER role than race ever does.

If that is a "fact", then a rational person would expect the authorities would look into why and rectify the situation, but I guess that is asking too much of our elected officials? Besides...........there is only so much to go around and we have more important priorities.
