With the amount of spending in 2009 it was projected there would be a smaller deficit the following year. Remember...Obama said he would cut the deficit in half in 2010. We all knew that increasing the deficit by so much in 2009 that it could be done...however, he didn't even do that. 8% isn't close to 50% as he promised.

There are two ways to cut the deficit. One is by decreasing spending. The other is by increasing revenues. Both ways should be used.
