Sorin, my concern with the -$1000 computers is that the DD will be made buy the manufacturer themselves. Two of the big -$1000 companies are IBM and Compaq, who both make disk drives now. So, in my opinion MR drives and maybe even GMR drives will lose money to these fellows. But the individuals who are pickier on what their computers have, and corporations with specific needs, will pick DLT drives, keeping Quantum successful. I'm in very long on this company. Tech
