NEIK Not really newsworthy, and I advised Dr. Russell that it would be perceived as "fluff," but he said the company sorta had to put this out because Prime Equity would have put out their own PR otherwise. By doing it themselves, NEIK got to say a few words about their backlog and the pending contract awards. They've been excoriated previously for having made overly optimistic guesses on contract timing, but I'm hoping to see at least one and possibly two new orders come in within the next two weeks. The most exciting thing about NEIK right now, IMO, is that they have discussed the possible acquisition of a profitable private company. If they can get this deal done (sure, it's a big "if," but I think it will most likely happen), it will more than double Northstar in size and move the company closer to its goal of getting listed on a major exchange within a year or so.
