(OTCBB: FLXT - News) flexpoint.com today announced that they have received a follow-up purchase order from Intertek Industrial Corp for a product that is an adaptation of Intertek’s Protek Passenger Awareness System which features Bend Sensor® technology. The “smart” passenger safety system is installed in the seats of the rear compartment of Emergency Vehicles and provides the driver with constant feedback as to the “seated and secured” status of personnel in the rear of the vehicle. The system is currently in use in emergency vehicles in the US and is being tested in applications for other types of emergency vehicles. The President of Flexpoint, Clark Mower stated, “We have enjoyed our relationship with Intertek and are excited about the potential of this adaptation of their technology to another user. These products have the potential to significantly increase the production of sensors by Flexpoint.
