It's not on my dollar? So they are using magical money, that doesn't have anything to do with taxpayer money? Hellooooo

Of course it's my dollar, and your dollar. People haven't paid in enough to pay for the benefits they get. If people really want to pay enough to pay for the benefits they get, AND they segregate the money- then I'd be ok with folks retiring so early, but aside from that, no.

I think this talk about people doing physical work, either retraining to compete in another position or continuing into to 65+ is revealing. No doubt many here are far removed from working with their backs.

With the present toxic diet and medication program most Americans survive on they are lucky to struggle from 55 to 60 years old on the job. A job that requires exposure to the elements and physical will wear most people out after 35-40 years.

So what are these people going to do? Be retrained to do what? Compete with illegal aliens or recent HS grads? How many greeters does Wallmart need?
