You seem to be trying to conflate "drug misuse and abuse" in those hospital admission statistics with "illicit drug use" but that is a mistake. "Drug misuse" statistics INCLUDE mistakes such as overdosing on Tylenol (leading single-point cause of drug-related death in America, leading to liver failure, as the fatal dose is so very close to the therapeutic dose --- around 350% or so, less if any alcohol has been consumed), or other meds. Also, (second mistake), your look at 'emergency room visits for illicit drug use' IGNORES the single most popular 'illicit drug' among whites, marijuana, which of course cause no emergency room visits.... Cherry-picking.
