So a pyramid scheme needs to continue because it existed in the past? Well, I paid for them too, and for your parents. I understand you might disagree with my position. It's not radical, but it's conservative. And people think I'm a hardline liberal :-) Little do they know. But I saw my mom treat her SS money like mad money, and my dad dropped dead right after he retired. Apparently a lot of men do- they used to joke about it at Lockheed. I think there's a lot to be said for working- especially for men, who get a lot of their self esteem from their jobs. I think I read a study about that somewhere. I'll look for it. But hey, mostly I just don't want the government encouraging people to not work- at least not very much, and not for very long.
