Some misc. news. CNBC will be talking about semi-equip. sector this a.m. on Squawkbox. Also, there is apparently a bug that can infect Pentium processors causing them to crash. See: news.com I don't know this area well enough to guess whether it will have any impact on INTC.

you won't believe how ecstatic i am to have given up on apm when i bailed out at 24.5 last week. just by doing so, i saved nearly 10k in losses that would have put my equity less than 40% and triggered a margin call. still i took a 16k loss on this stock for the year and am going to have to work hard to recoup the loss. good luck to all on this thread. i won't jump back in till i see some positive news about the whole dd sector. it is just unfortunate as hell that the shorts were right all along. does anyone have any idea if wdc will fare the same fate or are they more likely to retest 30 in the next few weeks/months? beaten but not decimated
