Remember we pay like double what the rest of the industrial countries do on health care - A very major component of this added cost is the burden of feeding the health insurance industry which adds nothing to the health of our citizens. If our leaders could pull their heads out of their respecive asses, or better yet, wean themselves of the largess afforded their careers by the for profit medical complex, and get behind a government run single payer system, we too could start bending the medical cost curve down.
