Well that's fine as long as it is mandatory. You just can't risk putting it into something like the stock market which as we have recently seen can be a risky investment. And if we make it voluntary, people will just ignore it and get to their old age with no money - and then be a drain on society. But why mess with something that is clearly working?

A good reason to eliminate the cap on SS contributions.
