Stossel well knows smoking has been banned in a lot of public places including Yankee Stadium and shopping malls.... and it is very noticeable.

Eight years after banning smoking indoors in many places, my city’s billionaire mayor (and nanny-in-chief) Michael Bloomberg is at it again. This time, he will expand the ban to parks, beaches, and pedestrian plazas like Times Square.

What I find strange is that while they're banning cigarettes, they are trying to move toward legalization of dope smoking. Now, I don't care what anyone does either way.

But I'm just not sure about it. You eliminate a drug that makes people sick and kills them with one that makes people stupid and unmotivated.

I guess some would say it is an improvement.
